RIX Riga Airport has announced an open tender for the granting of building rights for the construction and maintenance of a full-service fuel station near Riga Airport.
The goal of the tender is to select the most economically advantageous proposal for the development and operation of a full-service fuel station and related infrastructure. The new facility will significantly enhance passenger convenience, and it represents an important step in the strategic development of RIX Airport City.

The winning bidder will be granted the rights to build and operate the fuel station at the intersection of Ziemeļu Street and Highway P133.
According to the tender specifications, the fuel station must operate 24/7 and provide refueling services for both passenger and freight vehicles, electric vehicle charging, a retail and food service area, a car wash, and parking for trucks.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 11:00 AM on 23 July 2025. Additional information and the full tender documentation are available on the Riga Airport website.
RIX Airport City is set to become a new, multifunctional urban development adjacent to Riga Airport, encompassing hotels, office and retail spaces, and a wide range of services for passengers, cargo handlers, and residents, covering an area of 24 hectares.
