Riga welcomes basketball fans: special offers in restaurants, bars, and cultural venues during EuroBasket

From August 27 to September 14, Riga transforms into the basketball capital of Europe. Between games and on weekends, the city invites visitors to relax, explore, and enjoy its charm — from delicious culinary offers to a rich variety of cultural experiences. Some special deals are available to everyone, while others are reserved for ticket holders or accredited media representatives — but in every place, something unique awaits.

EuroBasket fans and visitors can take advantage of exclusive offers and promotions at some of Riga’s best restaurants and bars, including: Andalūzijas Suns, Herbary, Kimmel kvartāls, BURZMA Food Hall, Āgenskalns Market, B Bārs Restorāns, Cartel Bar, Sweatshop Sports Bar, CUBA Cafe, Distillers Republic, Ezītis miglā, Kaķis maisā, Teika, KIWI Bar, Funny Fox, Pica LuLū, Paddy Whelan’s, Latvijas 1. Rokkafejnīca, Sapņi un Kokteiļi, ST.BLACK & Rock Cafe Urban Stage, Tallinas ielas kvartāls, Vespa Latvija, The Sinners City, Neiburgs, Two More Beers, and A’Drop.

For those looking to explore Riga’s cultural scene, a range of creative and historical experiences are also on offer. At Bourzma Studio, visitors can design their own textile story, while other highlights include the House of the Blackheads, the Latvian National Museum of History, Riga Zoo, the Fashion Museum, Zuzeum Art Centre, and the Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre. These venues provide discounts on tickets as well as opportunities to spend memorable time with friends and family.

The festive basketball spirit continues at the official Fan Zone next to the Xiaomi Arena, where live screenings, entertainment activities, food, drinks, and the joy of celebrating together with fellow fans create an unforgettable atmosphere. Many Riga bars and event venues will also show EuroBasket games on big screens, ensuring the excitement of the championship is felt throughout the city.

All offers and recommendations for what to do in Riga between games have been compiled in a special EuroBasket City Guide created by the Riga Investment and Tourism Agency (RITA): Riga’s Guide for EuroBasket Visitors.
