airBaltic launches flights between Tallinn and Berlin

The Latvian national carrier airBaltic today launched its third direct route from Tallinn, linking the Estonian capital with Berlin, Germany, and building upon the already existing direct route to Paris and Riga. The four flights weekly service offers convenient connections between the two cities and beyond to destinations in Europe.

Christophe Viatte, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic: “By improving links between the Baltic capitals and European cities, airBaltic is strengthening its position as a truly Baltic airline. In addition to our existing Tallinn-Paris route launched last year, travellers from Tallinn are able to benefit from a new direct connection to the heart of Europe and onwards to the south, which we can offer together with our code share partner Air Berlin.”

Starting today, May 6, 2015 airBaltic flies from Tallinn to Berlin four times a week on Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft. The fares on the route start at 55 EUR, including airport fees and transaction costs. A full schedule of airBaltic flights can be found on the company’s homepage at www.airBaltic.com.

airBaltic serves over 60 destinations from its home base in Riga, Latvia. From every one of these locations, airBaltic offers convenient connections via North Hub Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East. In addition, airBaltic also offers new direct flights from Tallinn, Vilnius, and soon also from the Baltic seaside resort of Heringsdorf.
