Saulkrasti – a town neat the Gulf of Riga you can travel by foot in a day.

The Saulkrasti travel guide offers two basic routes to walk at a leisurely pace:

If you take the small circle (5 km), you will be able to visit ten historical objects and enjoy a refreshing swim in the sea at the old Neibāde beach.

The other route is more extensive (14 km) and will be a good choice for those who enjoy active walking and cycling. You will be travelling from Pabaži (formerly Katrīnbāde) to Zvejniekciems, visiting all of the 15 objects featured in this travel guide.
