Air Lituanica increases its statutory capital

Air Lituanica increases its statutory capital to LTL 11.276 million. With an investment of LTL 86,000, Baltic Post UAB has become a direct shareholder of Air Lituanica UAB, whereas Air Lituanica Club, joining over 40 natural and legal persons, has already invested LTL 3.44 million.

“New shareholders do not only open new opportunities but they also show investors' confidence in the company. Of course, investments have a strengthening effect on the capital of the Lithuanian airline,” Kęstutis Binkauskas, chairman of the board of Air Lituanica, commented on the situation.

In pursuit of its plan, Air Lituanica Club is planning to invest an additional sum of LTL 660,000, reaching the total share of investments of 4.1 million, in the short run.Air Lituanica shareholders continuously hold negotiations with potential investors from abroad and Lithuania who will contribute to Air Lituanica Club or will be able to become direct shareholders.

Air Lituanica operates regular direct flights from Vilnius to Brussels, Berlin, Prague and Munich, and will begin flights to Paris on 14 February.
