The opening party of the new “Amusement Park LIDO” will be held at the LIDO RECREATION CENTRE (Krasta Street 76, Riga) in cooperation with “Annels Grupa” on 21 and 22 May at 12.00.
To expand and diversify recreation opportunities suitable for all age groups, Limited Liability Company “LIDO” invited several Latvian companies from the amusement sector to participate in the project, the best-known company being Limited Liability Company “Annels Grupa”. As a result, a new amusement park – and the only permanent amusement park in Latvia – has been created.
The opening party for the park will offer an extensive activity programme so that every visitor will find something interesting and entertaining.
The party will start on both Saturday and Sunday at 12:00 with a showing of the musical “Brīnumskapis” (“Magic Closet”), followed by dance and game programmes and shows by the Riga Circus, dance studio “Kaprīze” and concerts by pop groups “Podziņas” and “Pumpuriņi”. The events will be concluded with a disco together with DJ Janko from 19:00-22:00. There will be various workshops all day long, as well as exciting games and competitions with prizes and a chance to see an exhibition of birds and small animals.
The amusement park offers attractions for the whole family and children of various ages, ensuring both athletic and creative recreation. In addition to existing and familiar activities such as bungee trampolines and driving school, new attractions will be available to visitors of the “Amusement Park LIDO”: a children’s train, catapult, inflatable attractions, carousels, 5D attractions and more – a total of 22 attractions that will be rotated and supplemented to bring new activities to the amusement park throughout the entire summer.
The “Amusement Park LIDO” hours of operation are: until 31 May – weekdays 15.00–22.00 and weekends 11.00–22.00. From 1 June to 1 September – weekdays 13.00–22.00 and weekends 11.00–22.00. After 1 September the hours of operation will change.
