Estonian Air's passenger numbers continuing to grow

In November Estonian Air carried 45 737 passengers, out of which 45 450 on regular flights. The total number of passengers increased 12.3 %, out of which on regular flights increased by 25 % y-o-y.

In eleven months Estonian Air carried altogether 539 507 passengers, out of which 490 313 on regular flights. Estonian Air carried from Tallinn 503 248 passengers. The total number of passengers increased 1.9% y-o-y, on regular flights 2.4 %.

“Estonian Air’s passenger numbers have been growing seven months in a row with the strongest growth in September, October and November,” said Rauno Parras, Estonian Air Vice President Commercial. “In addition to the growth in the aviation market the November passenger growth has been positively influenced by increasing flight capacities and more focusing on sales and marketing activities,” added Parras.

In eleven months the market share of Estonian Air in the regular flights segment at Tallinn Airport was 41.8%, which is 4.2 percentage points lower y-o-y. The total market share (regular and charter flights) was 39.2 %, which is 2.6 percentage points lower y-o-y.

From January to November Estonian Air operated 9559 flights, which is 0.9% more flights y-o-y. In November Estonian Air operated 881 flights, which is 5.5 % more flights y-o-y.
In eleven months the regularity of Estonian Air was 98.3% and the 15-minute punctuality was 87.9 %. In November the regularity and punctuality were 97.8% and 82.8% respectively.
