airBaltic opens office in Tbilisi, Georgia

November 16, the Latvian national airline airBaltic opens its office in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.

Tero Taskila, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic: “We have been operating flights to Tbilisi since 2006 up to seven times a week depending on the season. Opening of the office in Tbilisi is just another step in airBaltic’s development towards strengthening its position in the Caucasus.”

The new airBaltic office is located at 72 Phaliashvili Street, Tbilisi. airBaltic provides flights for lower prices and connects the Georgia’s capital Tbilisi with the most important airports in the Western Europe, Scandinavia, the Mediterranean Sea region and the Middle East. The flight schedule is available on the company’s homepage www.airbaltic.com.

The airBaltic office will offer information about products and services, sale of flight tickets, airBalticTravel.com low price travel packages (flight + hotel), passenger name, flight date and route change services, payments for checked-in baggage, airBalticcard Mobile phone card, as well as airBaltic souvenirs and gift cards. New office will also serve members of BalticMiles loyalty programme.

At present airBaltic has offices outside Latvia in Berlin, Kiev, Minsk, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Klaipeda, Tallinn, Tbilisi and Vilnius.

airBaltic operates direct flights from Riga to 80 destinations. Irrespective of the place of departure airBaltic offers convenient connections from its North Hub Riga to destinations of the company’s route network in Scandinavia, Europe, Russia, the CIS and the Middle East.
