THOUSAND TABLES FESTIVAL FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY „PALANGA TABLE 2010“

SEPTEMBER 25 D., SATURDAY

12.00	Opening of the first national fish barbeque championship. Palanga Mayor‘s Cup.	J. Basanavičiaus street and Birutės alley crossroad
13.00	Festival opening, „Palanga brass band“ parade	J. Basanavičiaus street
13.20	Palanga Mayor‘s and foreign guests greetings.	Jūratė and Kastytis square
13.30 - 18.00	A concert of Palanga groups and performers. Celebration of town newspaper “Palangos tiltas” 10 years anniversary	Jūratė and Kastytis square
14.00	Opening of first Palanga outdoor art gallery	J. Basanavičiaus street 37A, by the restaurant „Žuvinė“
17.00	TABLE nominations awards	Jūratė and Kastytis square
18.00	Award ceremony of the national fish barbeque championship (captains and best fish soup)	Jūratė and Kastytis square
18.30	Award ceremony of the first national fish barbeque championship (Palanga Mayor‘s Cup)	Jūratė and Kastytis square
19.00 – 23.00	Festivities at town’s cafes, restaurants and clubs.	Palanga town

This festival is held at the biggest country‘s resourt to celebrate the International Tourism Day and to start the autumn events season. During the festival the whole city of Palanga will sit down to thousand tables and invite to do so all the guests from Lithuania and abroad. Tables will stretch all along J. Basanaviciaus Street. In the beginning of the street the festival‘s guests will see the biggest table in Lithuania which will seek to become a new record.
