Ryanair Announces 1 New Kaunas Route To Gothenburg

Ryanair, the world’s favourite and Lithuania`s Nr. 1 airline, announced 22nd July that it will open 1 new route (19 in total) from Kaunas to Gothenburg from 3rd of Nov 2010 which will grow Ryanair’s annual traffic at Kaunas to 1m passengers, sustaining 1,000 local jobs. The new Ryanair route will operate 3 times a week: Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Ryanair celebrated this 1 new Kaunas route by offering 35LTL flights for travel in September and October which are available for booking until midnight Thursday (22nd July). Ryanair’s new routes go on sale on www.ryanair.com.

 

Ryanair’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Laszlo Tamas said:

Ryanair’s 1m Kaunas passengers will sustain 1,000 local jobs. The new route will ensure that Kaunas and Lithuania tourism will develop further and even more jobs will be created both in the city and in the region.
