Vilnius International Airport (VIA) offers a new “Fast track” service for business-class travelers since February. The business clients, who obtain this service, will be able to use a separate entrance where the procedures before a flight go faster.
The Fast track service is rendered by VIA for airlines which render it to their business clients. To provide this service, VIA has a separate entrance equipped for those business clients having invitations to be served faster by the security staff.
“Such service is rendered at the most modern European airports, and it is often used by business-class customers and highest level travelers of loyalty programs. Rendering this service, Vilnius airport seeks to become a more attractive partner for airline companies that service business clients”, a Head of Aviation Services Unit, Simonas Bartkus, says.
According to S. Bartkus, the airport, improving and developing its services, shortens the clients’ time spent at the airport.
“Time is especially important for business clients. Those who have a business travel, put much value upon a short distance fr om the city centre to Vilnius airport; therefore, just one hour after a business meeting, the client may be sitting in an airplane already”, the representativeof VIA, says.
Business class travelers may also enjoy a “Business lounge” at the airport, wh ere they may spend their time before flight in a separate area.In the entire passengers’ terminal of the airport, there is free wireless internet access provided that is especially valued by business travelers.
