Ryanair Marketing executive for Nordic and Baltic market Laszlo Marozsi has no doubts that Liverpool is an important destination for Lithuanian travellers as over 300 hundred people used the service on the first day of operations. There an increasing interest felt in Vilnius – capital of culture 2009 events amongst the citizens of Liverpool, who have been spoiled by the numerous cultural events last year.

Ryanair offers a selection of destinations form Kaunas to the UK and responds to the needs of the customers – this season the airline offers very convenient connections to London – one of the most popular destinations of the Lithuanian travellers. Ryanair will operate 13 weekly flights between Kaunas and two London airports – Stansted and Luton. Two weekly flights will also be offered to Birmingham -the popular destination of Lithuanian students.
