In July 2025, Latvian airline airBaltic carried more than half a million passengers – specifically 539 300 – across all its bases, a slight 4% decrease compared to July 2024. The airline operated about 4 455 flights, a slight drop of 0.7%. The load factor stayed stable at 86.4%, showing only a minor decline of 2.4 percentage points. The minor decrease in operational figures was expected, mainly due to network optimization efforts carried out at the beginning of the year.
From January to July this year, airBaltic carried a record-high 2 900 900 passengers from all its bases – the highest number in its history for the first seven months of a year. This represents a 4.6% increase compared to the same period last year. The number of flights grew by 2.6%, reaching 26 969, while the load factor also reached a record high for the first seven months of a year of 79.5%, up 0.6 percentage points year-on-year.
airBaltic operates more than 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere, and, seasonally, Gran Canaria, offering connections to a wide range of destinations in the airline's route network in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region.
