Latvia: A Record Number of Participants in Riga Restaurant Week — 63 Restaurants

The seasonal Riga Restaurant Week will take place from October 28 to November 10. During this time, chefs will invite guests to enjoy exquisite meals showcasing the latest food trends and classic values. This year, a record number of participants—63 restaurants in the capital—will be taking part.

As usual, over the two-week period, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse range of specially designed three-course meals based on seasonal products. The meal prices will be in the categories of 30, 35, and 40 euros. Several restaurants will offer a special chef's compliment, as well as the option to pair the meal with matching beverages. It is an opportunity to taste a variety of popular and experimental dishes, prepared with skill and a deep understanding of flavour combinations, promising an exciting culinary adventure.

Fredis Bikovs, Director of the Riga Investment and Tourism Agency, explains: "Riga Restaurant Week is an opportunity for visitors to discover new flavours and experience top-class culinary art. It is also a way to support Riga's restaurants after the peak season and enjoy excellent dinners at affordable prices for locals and visitors from abroad. The high level of participation from restaurants and their willingness to get involved indicates that Restaurant Week is an important event for the hospitality sector. It is worth noting that several restaurants that have not previously participated in Restaurant Week have joined this year."

Photographer Filips Smits created the visual concept for Autumn Restaurant Week. It focuses on a food fashion week and collections of autumn flavours, emphasizing that Restaurant Week offers a taste experience and a visual delight.

To participate and enjoy this unique experience, visitors are advised to book a table in their chosen restaurant in advance, as the seats are limited. More information about the participants and their offerings can be found at www.liveriga.com.
