Travelling by bike in Estonia

Travelling by bike in Estonia can be very enjoyable: there are several secret roads in the midst of the forests and villages away from major highways that traverse through picturesque places.

As the distances are not long in Estonia, you don’t need to spend the nights in a tent – you’ll likely find accommodation establishments on the way.

One of our most amazing trails among other long routes is a trail along the coast EuroVelo 10. Coming from Latvia in the south, the 981-kilometre route passes through the resort town Pärnu, the largest islands, the capital Tallinn and Lahemaa, the oldest national park in Estonia, and ends at the Russian border.

You can also travel by bike along the 375-kilometre hiking trail of Oandu-Ikla and the 628-kilometre Peraküla-Aegviidu-Ähijärve hiking trail located perpendicular to it. You can also travel shorter distances or just take on a few sections on weekends.

But these aren’t the only bike trails in Estonia. We have a huge number of them – you can also make your plans according to the location of our beautiful camping sites so you can take breaks to have a nice barbecue and rest your tired legs.
