For a whole month, starting from October 1 till October 23, one of the leading European car rental service providers, Sixt Car Rental, is offering the rental of the new VW Golf 6 for just 1 euro for a travel from Riga or Tallinn to Vilnius. Sixt embarked on a similar campaign at the beginning of this summer, when anyone could rent a car one-way from Vilnius to Tallinn or Riga.
“In response to increasing internal tourism within the Baltic States, this summer Sixt Car rental launched an unprecedented campaign – the chance to rent the new VW Golf for a one-way trip for a fee equivalent to one public transportation journey in Riga. In early summer, this offer was in effect for a one-way trip from Vilnius to Riga or Tallinn, while now the offer applies to journeys from Riga or Tallinn to Vilnius. Furthermore, for 1 euro people can have the car for up to three days, which means that before handing it over in Vilnius there is time to enjoy a leisurely journey and the picturesque rural landscape. This offer will also appeal to those making business trips to Vilnius in October, as well as anyone travelling to Vilnius to attend one of the big concerts – James Blunt, Hurts or Jean Michel Jarre,” explains Arnis Jaudzems, Sixt General Manager in the Baltic States.
The offer to rent the new VW Golf 6 for a trip from Riga or Tallinn to Vilnius for 1 euro is valid from October 1-23. Cars can be rented for up to three days. Applying for a car rental is possible from October 1 by calling +371 67207121 or writing to [email protected]. The offer is open to anyone who has reached the age of 20 years and has a valid internationally recognised driver’s licence, 2 years of driving experience, and a credit card. The number of cars available for rental is limited.
