«airBaltic» Increases Connectivity to Amsterdam from All Three Baltic Capitals

The Latvian airline airBaltic announces an increase in flight frequencies to Amsterdam from all three Baltic capitals – Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius – starting March 30, 2025. This expansion will offer customers greater flexibility when traveling between the Baltics and the Netherlands, while also enhancing access to onward destinations worldwide through one of Europe’s largest hubs.

Starting March 30, 2025, airBaltic will operate three daily flights between Riga and Amsterdam, as well as two daily flights between both Tallinn and Amsterdam and Vilnius and Amsterdam. By strengthening its route offering, the airline aims to support growing demand and enhance connectivity across the region. The flights are already available for purchase on the company’s homepage www.airbaltic.com.

Martin Gauss, President and CEO of airBaltic: “As the leading airline in the Baltic States, we are committed to providing the best global connectivity from the region to destinations worldwide. Amsterdam is one of the most popular destinations in our network, and by closely monitoring market trends and passenger demand, we recognize that increasing flight frequency is a strategically important step for the Baltic region. This expansion will also provide customers with greater connectivity options and attract more tourists from around the world.”

The airBaltic fleet, one of the youngest in Europe, consists of a single aircraft type – Airbus A220-300. The airline currently operates 50 aircraft of this type and plans to double its fleet to 100 Airbus A220-300s by 2030. The aircraft offers an excellent flying experience, with benefits for passengers such as wider seats, larger windows, more hand luggage space in the cabin and improved lavatories, as well as better overall performance.

airBaltic is the first European airline to provide free SpaceX Starlink high-speed internet on its flights and plans to equip its entire Airbus A220-300 fleet with the service by the end of the year.

airBaltic operates more than 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere and, seasonally, Gran Canaria, offering connections to a wide range of destinations in the airline's route network in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region. A complete schedule of airBaltic flights and tickets is available on the airline’s homepage at www.airbaltic.com.
