Hotel «Radi un draugi» has a new corporate identity

Hotel “Radi un draugi” which celebrated its 15th anniversary last year has begun this year by changing its visual appearance and adopting a new corporate identity. A new logo has been created for Hotel “Radi un draugi” which will now appear in all visual materials related to the hotel. It symbolises not only stability and elegance, but concurrently also celebrates the hotel’s history and development.

New colours and visual elements are used in the hotel’s new visual image which was created by the artist Everita Upeniece. It no longer features the symbol of the Daugavas Vanagi organisation - a hawk. Moreover, compared with the hotel’s previous corporate identity, its new visual image has been created in a completely different style.

Along with its logo and brand transformation, the Hotel “Radi un draugi” homepage has also been redesigned. Both its design and contents are now of a higher quality. In its new improved version it offers not only much more extensive information about the hotel and the services it offers, but also about events in Riga and in whole Latvia.

However, in future the hotel’s key basic operating values will remain constant - quality offers and pristine high quality service and cleanliness for guests.

In turn, the hotel’s future development strategy envisages the transformation of “Radi and draugi” into a four star hotel. The hotel is already planning to carry out various reconstruction works this year to augment its range of services, as well as obtain the status of a four star hotel.

Hotel “Radi un draugi” has been owned by the British-based expatriate Latvian organisation, the “Latvian Welfare Fund” ever since its establishment in 1995. Over a 15 year period, it has served more than 350,000 clients. Furthermore, the hotel has been a member of the Association of Hotels and Restaurants of Latvia since 1997.

Every year, a share of the hotel’s annual profits is donated to the Latvian population: profits are not transferred outside the country, but are invested in the hotel’s development and in charitable funds and campaigns. Every since its founding, the hotel has used its means to support children, young people, vulnerable members of society and state cultural events. This money donated to charity can be measured in thousands of lats and is increasing every year.
