Tartu Spring Days - A week full of dancing!

Tartu Spring Days have arrived with a wide variety of different opportunities to dance. It would be a sin not to use that chance. The cool thing is, there is something for everyone and every event is FREE of charge for students!

You really really really like and want to dance (maybe even till the sun rises)? Ever done it under a bridge? So uhm... maybe take part of the Dance marathon?

Yeah! Of course – sign me up! (Right?)

Dance Marathon takes place on 29th April starting at 21.00 under Sõpruse sild, right by Emajõgi. Totally free of charge. Check out the Facebook event here.

After a long night of dancing, what would be better than doing aerobics? This year Spring Aerobics consists of four different dance workouts: Afro, Latinbody, Strip Aerobics and Dancelift. A fun and interesting excercise is guaranteed.

The event takes place on 30th of April at 18.00 in the parking lot of the University of Tartu’s Sport hall (and if it rains, then in the Athletics Hall). More information here.

Last but not least – Night Dance Festival. Night Dance Festival is an event, that anyone can join to learn the traditional Estonian folk dances. What would be a better way to get a true feeling of a culture than participating and dancing with hundreds of others.

The Night Dance Festival takes place on May 2 at 23.00 on Vabaduse puiestee.

Put attend on the Facebook event, so you dont forget to join.

Now that’s something!
