Flight Connection Launched between Arlanda and Pärnu

The first regular flight on the Stockholm-Pärnu route took place in June. Preparations for the new route started in the summer capital of Estonia last autumn.

The new air service route was launched in the cooperation of Pärnu Sanatorium Tervis and the Strand Spa & Conference Hotel. The flight from Arlanda Airport in Stockholm to Pärnu lasts 50 minutes. This helps to save a lot of time when compared to ships that only bring people who want to visit Pärnu as far as Tallinn. Management Board Member of Sanatorium Tervis Jaan Ratnik and Director of Strand Aime Vilgas were pleased that launching the air service route took less than a year.

The 50-seat place of the airline known as Skyways flies to Pärnu once a week on Saturdays and the last flight this year is on 16 August. Everyone can fly to Pärnu with a Skyways Fokker 50 or Saab 2000. Tickets can be bought on the airline’s website www.skyways.ee or from Reiser in Pärnu.
