The Residents of Ten European Cities Will be Able to Greet You in Lithuanian

Hello, we have discovered you, now you should discover us” read 900 posters that appeared in the public transportation stops of Riga (Latvia), Tallinn (Estonia), Stockholm (Sweden), Oslo (Norway), Helsinki (Finland), Paris (France), Hamburg and Stuttgart (Germany), and London (UK) yesterday. The posters will continue inviting foreign citizens to Vilnius, the European Capital of Culture in 2009, for four weeks.

Vilnius residents and guests walking Gediminas Avenue will have an opportunity to follow the event information of the National Programme Vilnius - European Capital of Culture in 2009 each day. Outdoor stands with the programme of both the next events and the entire season were placed on the building under reconstruction in front of the Shopping Centre Gedimino 9. The outdoor stands with regularly updated information will beautify the Avenue until the end of the year.
