Charter flights commenced from Riga Airport to Salzburg

Latvia’s largest tour operator Tez Tour together with Latvia’s national carrier airBaltic on 28 December, open flights from Riga International Airport to Salzburg in Austria, which is to be the twelfth route jointly operated by airBaltic and Tez Tour. Until now there have been no charter flights on the route Riga – Salzburg.

To celebrate the first flight, a special cake was made decorated with a motif of mountain skiers.

airBaltic will perform flights from Riga to Salzburg starting from 28 December on Saturdays throughout the entire winter season.

In the winter season, Riga Airport offers flights to 70 direct destinations operated by the following airlines: airBaltic, Ryanair, Wizz Air, Aeroflot, Lufthansa, Norwegian, Finnair, Uzbekistan Airways, LOT, UTair, Transaero, Belavia, Turkish Airlines, Austrian Airlines Group, Turkmenistan Airlines, Polet Airlines, Corendon, SmartLynx, AMC.
