Film about Riga wins award at festival in Berlin

A film about Riga has won an award at a tourism film festival in Berlin. The Riga Tourism Coordination and Information Center's film "Christmas Miracle in Riga", which was produced by "Style Masters Studio", won a silver medal in the "City Tourism" category at the Berlin 9th International Tourism Film Festival "Das goldene Stadttor 2010" ("The Golden City Gate 2010").

The main prize was won by a film by "National Geographic TV" on Africa's Gorongosa National Park.

The festival's international jury evaluated 103 films from 32 countries. The festival has been taking place since 2002, and its awards are considered the "Oskars" of the tourism film industry.
