«airBaltic» Carries 49 000 Passengers in April

Latvian airline airBaltic in April 2021 has carried 49 000 passengers or 67% more than the previous month. In April 2021, airBaltic performed 1 010 flights.

Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic: “A year ago we were able to only perform a limited number of repatriation flights for Baltic citizens returning home. Today, as the vaccination levels improve, the situation is different. More people are planning safe summer leisure trips, and we are here to provide a wide selection of exciting and safe travel opportunities.”

During April 2021, the 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic reached a level of 92%. This means that more than 92 out of every 100 airBaltic flights departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.

This summer airBaltic offers more than 70 direct destinations from Riga, including seven destinations in Italy, seven destinations in Greece and six destinations in Spain in addition to many other leisure destinations.
