Estonian government leaves requirement on wearing face masks

Although the Estonian government on 25 May announced new relief on Covid-19 restrictions, people will still need to wear face masks, reports “Postimees.”

In fact, this issue will be reviewed in two weeks and perhaps masks will need to be worn only where many people gather.

From 31 May in Estonia, sport will also take place in indoor groups for up to 25 people. From June 14, up to 600 people will be able to gather indoors and up to 1000 people in the outdoor areas. However, events must be concluded by midnight.

From May 31, conferences, shows, concerts, movie screenings and other events with a maximum number of 200 participants shall also be permitted.

Also, from June 14, saunas, water parks and pools could reopen, ensuring that the maximum number of people is 600 and occupancy is no more than 50%.
