Visit Estonia gate opened at Tallinn Airport

The Estonian Tourist Board has opened a brand new “Visit Estonia“ themed gate at Tallinn Airport.

The gate, No. 5, is divided into three parts: a children's territory with a huge Lotte playhouse, an interactive, informative waiting area decorated with Estonian national patterns and a bridge from the gate to the airplane that introduces travellers to Estonian nature.

The goal of gate No. 5 is to acquaint people with the travel opportunities inside Estonia, modern IT solutions and international events. One can watch videos, make a call in the Skype kiosk, exchange contacts and do other interesting things. Every day over 5,000 people spend more than an hour at the airport, and the gate provides an excellent way to use up waiting time learning something new about Estonia.

The opening of the gate is yet another step toward making Tallinn Airport the cosiest airport in the world. The airport already offers a library and an art gallery, and there is more to come soon.
