Update from Lithuania: Government decides to loosen restrictions

Lithuania’s Government has decided that from the next Monday, May 24, bars and cafes will be allowed to stay open until 22:00, which is 1 hour longer than at the moment.

Restrictions will be also loosened on personal contacts. People up to 5 people will be allowed to spend time indoors, but they must be from no more than 2 households. People will be allowed to gather up to 10 people if they are spending time outside.

Shops in malls without direct street access as well as stores and stalls in covered markets can stay open on weekends.

Saunas can be visited by 2 people from different households. In swimming pools there can be up to 50 people at the same time, but every person needs to have a distance - 20 square metres from each other.

At private events that are taking place inside, people can gather from 2 households or up to 5 people from different households.

If the gathering is outside, then there can be up to 10 people. At public events, if the event is hosted outdoors, it can be visited by 300 people, but if indoors - by 150 people.
