Tallinn Airport passenger traffic stable in September

Tallinn Airport handled 164 307 passengers in September which is 0,8% less than in September last year.
Passenger number on scheduled flights remained on the same level as in September previous year (showing 0,6% growth), while passenger number on charter flights declined by 7,2%. During the first 9 months 1 413 842 passengers travelled through Tallinn Airport with the growth rate of 8,9% compared to the same period in 2007.
During the summer schedule of 2008 Tallinn Airport had scheduled flights to 27 European cities and 2 Estonian destinations. In September passengers could also choose between 24 different holiday destinations, most popular of which were Antalya in Turkey, Iraklion in Greece and Varna in Bulgaria.
