New Golf-Course in Lithuania

Low lands and wide fields of Lithuania are perfect for golf. It is already the third golf-course opened at the very beginning of July, and it is not far from Vilnius A2, just 19 kilometres, next to hotel Le Meridien Villon.

The golf-course is arranged according to accepted standards of American Golf Association. Everybody is invited to play golf – grownups and little ones, professionals, and those who had never handled a golf-club. Professionals can use 6377 m long 18-bunker golf-course (courts of four different types). A 9-bunker golf-course “Bridgewater” is provided for beginners, but everyone who wants to learn hitting technique is welcome to “Driving range” court.

Many believe that golf is only for rich people. Others think golf is complicated. “The V Club” wants to change this point of view, and welcomes exactly families to play golf. The club also offers support of world league trainers.

The opening of Golf Academy is also planned in future. Everyone who is over 7 years of age could study there. Similarly a gym will be established where during the winter period children will have an opportunity to learn the very basics of the golf by using soft balls. Already this summer the young ones are welcome to the camp, but the competition of veterans is planned in future.

Chairman of the board Benjamin Brahms is glad for this golf-course, because he is aware of its popularity in the nearest future not only among Lithuanians but also among foreign tourists.
