Environmental Art Festival Nature. Urban. Future.

Festival is seeking solutions to the relationship between natural and urban environments. An opportunity to participate and relax in creative ways: encounter artistic expression at exhibitions, events, concerts, take a stroll through the town and take a stroll through the town and take pleasure in the small-format environmental light installations.

Sigulda Distric Council and the artist Agnese Melbārde together with a creative team offers residents and guests of the city to take a winter walk and see eight environment light objects – WINTERIZED!* in SIGULDA! (IEZIEMOTS!* SIGULDĀ!) – that were specially created within the framework of the project "Nature. Urban. Future." From January 17 till February 28.

Glass-houses filled with noises, sounds, colours and lights, where you can see several associative nature motifs, separate substances and processes.

The art objects are displayed near Sigulda railway station, as well as on Pils Street and Raiņa Street.
