RYANAIR CELEBRATES 5 MILLION PASSENGERS AT RIGA AIRPORT

CELEBRATION SEAT SALE 6.99LVL

Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, yesterday (28th June) celebrated its 5th million passenger at Riga airport. Since starting operations in Riga in 2004, Ryanair has steadily grown its passenger numbers and has now reached an impressive 5 million. Ryanair has currently 16 routes on sale to/from Riga and expects to carry up to 1 million passengers this year.

The lucky 5th million passenger was Mr Agris Stuklis who was on his way back from a short holiday in Glasgow. Mr Stuklis was delighted about his win and he was awarded with flowers and a flight voucher that he can use for his next holiday with Ryanair. To mark this special occasion a delicious cake was also served to all passengers at the Riga airport terminal.

Ryanair’s Baltic Sales & Marketing Executive Elina Hakkarainen said:

“Ryanair is delighted to mark this 5 million passenger milestone at Riga airport. Ryanair started its operations in Riga in 2004 and since then has steadily grown its passenger numbers and now reached an impressive 5 million. We hope that people in Riga and the surroundings continue to avail Ryanair’s low fares and no fuel surcharge guarantee and we look forward to future milestones ahead!”

“To celebrate this great passenger milestone, Ryanair has released 6.99LVL seat sale. These seats will be available for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in September. These “all in” low fares are available on over 1,000 of Ryanair’s European routes but must be booked on www.ryanair.com before midnight (24:00hrs) Thursday 30th June.”
