airBaltic Celebrates 20 Years of Connecting Riga to Oslo

The Latvian national airline airBaltic today celebrates a remarkable milestone – 20 consecutive years of connecting Riga to Oslo (Gardermoen Airport). Over these years, the airline has connected its home base to the Norwegian capital with daily service, providing passengers with flexible timetables and a wide range of travel options – including seamless connections worldwide with its codeshare partners.

Martin Gauss, President and CEO of airBaltic: “Oslo was one of the first destinations in our network back in 2004, and since then, demand for this destination has increased. airBaltic now connects both capitals with up to two daily flights, providing passengers with seamless travel experience and global connections. We are grateful to our partners in Oslo for their cooperation throughout these years and are looking forward to many more years of collaboration in the future."

airBaltic connects Oslo to Riga with up to two daily flights and to Tallinn – with up to two flights a week. Additionally, during the winter season, the airline performs weekly non-stop flights to Gran Canaria. On all routes, airBaltic provides its passengers with two service classes – Economy and Business Class.

airBaltic operates more than 100 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere, and Gran Canaria (seasonally) offering connections to a wide range of destinations in the airline's route network in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region. A complete schedule of airBaltic flights and tickets are available on the company's homepage at www.airbaltic.com.
