The Võnge festival on the Estonian-Latvian border will take place this weekend

This Friday and Saturday, July 2 and 3, near the Estonian-Latvian border, in Terva Parish, Soglemegi, at the location of the future Mulgi Adventure Center, the Võnge Festival will take place. Current artists from Estonia and Latvia, as well as other European countries will perform. Tickets can be purchased on Ticketer.ee.

Visitors to Võnge will have two long, idyllic summer days filled with flavors, art, culture and, of course, the unique hustle and bustle of the festival and great music. On stage, you will be able to see and hear the most relevant Estonian artists today, such as Lexsoul Dancemachine, Rita Ray, Lenna, Puuluup and Erki Pärnoja, as well as exciting artists from all over the world, including L'Impératrice and S + C + A + R + R from France, The Mauskovic Dance Band from the Netherlands, Jay-Jay Johanson from Sweden, as well as Elizabeti Balčus, Reini Jauno and Tomas Grēviņš from Latvia.

From 28 June, visitors to events with up to 5,000 participants will no longer be tested in Estonia. There is also no obligation to present a document of immunity or to wear a mask. The festival takes place outdoors and there will be enough space for everyone. There will also be disinfection points on site to disinfect your hands, and people's movements will be organized so that you can keep your distance from others. So the festival is safe and all music lovers are welcome, but of course - if you feel bad, please stay home. Starting this week, you can travel to Estonia from all over the European Union, the European Economic Area or the Schengen countries (except Great Britain) without taking tests and without self-isolation. All you have to do is fill in the form at https://iseteenindus.terviseamet.ee/ up to 72 hours before arrival in the country. However, when returning, the rules of the home country must be followed. For example, if you return to Latvia, you must perform a PCR test up to 72 hours before entering the country. This in turn means that it is wise to take the test just before going to Estonia, as it will still be valid when you return home after two days of the festival. Also, up to 48 hours before returning to Latvia, the questionnaire must be filled in at https://www.covidpass.lv/

In total, more than 30 artists will perform on the Võnge festival over two days on two large and several smaller pop-up stages: Di Bosco, L'Impératrice and S + C + A + R + R from France, The Mauskovic Dance Band from the Netherlands, YASMYN from Estonia, Jay-Jay Johanson from Sweden, Jesse Markin from Finland, Elizabete Balčus, Reinis Jaunais and Toms Grēviņš from Latvia, Estonia will be represented by Catapulta, Egert Milder, Ellip, Erki Pärnoja, I Wear * Experiment, Jarek Kasar, Kreaitiivmootor, Kukerpillid, Lenna , Lexsoul Dancemachine, Manna, Mari Jürjens, Pluto, Puuluup, Riffarrica, Rita Ray, Sammalhabe, Society in the Park, Worn Öut and YE.
