After a request from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia and with a permit from the Ministry of Transport, Latvian airline airBaltic on November 3 and 5 has scheduled special flights from Tbilisi to Riga and vice versa. This request follows the decision to remove Georgia from the list of countries from which flights are allowed to Latvia due to the fact that the epidemiological situation is not improving.
It is possible to book tickets for these flights calling +371 67207771. Please note that during the booking via telephone call the passengers will need to give and confirm their passport details. All information is available on https://www.airbaltic.com/en/flying-home.
airBaltic is in close cooperation with the authorities to monitor the situation and is flexible to adjust the flight schedule if needed. Passengers are strongly suggested to check the travel regulations and airport restrictions on the official websites or with local embassies before travelling. Regulations are changing rapidly and vary per country, therefore always make sure you have the latest information to have a smooth journey.
The safety and health of our passengers is airBaltic’s top priority. airBaltic has introduced strong health measures and the new flight operations follow the recommendations issued by authorities. All passengers on board of airBaltic aircraft are provided with a complimentary basic care kit consisting of a protective face mask and disinfection wipes.
