Alexander restaurant on the small Estonian island of Muhu has been voted among the top 50 restaurants in the world.

The Diners Club World's 50 Best Restaurants Club annually announces a list of the world's best restaurants, ranked from 1 to 50 by the 900 expert members of the academy.

Each region in the world has its own voting panel of 36 members, including chefs, restaurateurs, food critics and gourmands. The restaurant was chosen among the 8 venues in North East Europe.

Alexander restaurant is located on the small Estonian island of Muhu and serves as a hotel restaurant for the historical Pädaste manor.

Alexander restaurant focuses on the modern Estonian cuisine influenced by French culinary traditions, with the focus on locally sourced ingredients.
