airBaltic Reveals Top Destination Trends for Summer 2024 from Riga

The Latvian national airline, airBaltic announces its passengers' most favored destinations this summer from Riga – Ljubljana, Corfu, and Milan. Leveraging data from ticket sales and travel patterns, the airline has identified a diverse array of destinations that are becoming increasingly popular among travelers this season.

airBaltic connects Riga with Ljubljana with just a bit over 2 hour flights, twice a week this summer, attracted by the city's enchanting blend of rich history and vibrant contemporary culture. The Slovenian capital, celebrated for its green spaces and lively arts scene, is proving to be a serene escape for those in search of relaxation and cultural enrichment.

With two weekly flights this summer, airBaltic connects Riga with the Mediterranean sun shores of Corfu. This picturesque Greek island, with its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and historic old town, offers the perfect summer getaway for beach lovers and history enthusiasts alike.

Fashion, art, and design converge in Milan, making it a prime destination for airBaltic passengers from Riga. As Italy's fashion capital, Milan attracts those eager to explore its dynamic mix of modernity and tradition, from the iconic Duomo to cutting-edge galleries and luxurious shopping districts. This summer, the two cities are connected by a flight time of nearly 3 hours, with five weekly flights.

In addition to these destinations, Dubai, Athens, Tirana and Prague are also among the most favored airBaltic routes from Riga this summer.

airBaltic provides tickets for all its flights not only in Economy Class, but also in Business Class for its passengers. Business Class tickets offer a full-service fare package that includes benefits such as priority check-in and boarding, a seat in business class in front of the cabin with an extra free seat for more privacy, a three-course gourmet meal, unlimited beverages, and quicker disembarking upon arrival.

This year, airBaltic plans to add 18 new routes – 8 from Latvia, 4 from Estonia, 5 from Lithuania and 1 from Tampere (Finland). Additionally, the airline has added to its network seven new countries in the Balkan region, providing its customers with a wide range of travel options.

airBaltic operates more than 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere and, seasonally, Gran Canaria, offering connections to a wide range of destinations in the airline's route network in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region.
