Looking into the future – Riga Airport celebrates the Latvia's Independence Day with an exhibition of innovative Latvian companies

During Patriot week* from 11 to 18 November, RIX Riga Airport will host the exhibition "The Future is Closer Than Expected". The visitors of the airport will have the opportunity to get to know innovative and export-oriented Latvian companies whose investment in science, innovation and new technologies is shaping the future of Latvia and the world.

The exhibition "The Future is Closer Than Expected" is Riga Airport's special gift on the occasion of Latvia's Independence Day, and its aim is to highlight inspiring and innovative Latvian companies whose ingenuity and achievements we can be proud of. The exhibition will feature stands of ergonomic video game accessories manufacturer "Azeron", one of the world leaders in unmanned aircraft technology – "Edge Autonomy", award-winning digital health start-up "Longenesis", one of the leading Latvian technology companies "SAF tehnika" with the brand "Aranet" and others.

"May the companies that create innovative products based on scientific discoveries and have gained recognition and demand worldwide inspire everyone and let them see that Latvia has something to be proud of! Riga Airport is also introducing some big ideas into its daily operations – from green energy, new technological solutions and involvement in international research projects. By respecting our country's past and looking boldly into the future, together we can achieve much more!" says Laila Odiņa, Chairperson of the Board of Riga Airport.

The exhibition will be available from 11 November to 18 November in the Passenger terminal of Riga Airport, in the gallery leading to C gates. The Latvian companies "Azeron", "Adventum", "Edge Autonomy", "Hackmotion", "Longenesis", "Silk Plaster" and "SAF Tehnika" with the brand "Aranet" participate in the exhibition.
