More Air Lituanica flights at Vilnius Airport

The airline Air Lituanica increases the number of flights on its routes on summer season schedule. Air Lituanica aircrafts will take off from Vilnius Airport 43 times a week.

“Our strategic goal is to create full quality flights to business passengers on the main European routes; therefore, the frequency of flights is especially important. Daily flights to major airports will be an excellent opportunity for businessmen and public officials to plan their time more effectively and to save the costs of business trips," says Air Lituanica Commerce Director Simonas Bartkus.

During the summer season new flights are also convenient for holidays. However, despite the season, both the business segment and tourists must always have a possibility of reaching Lithuania conveniently. Thus, by increasing the number of flights this summer, Air Lituanica also wants to create favourable conditions for holidaymakers: they will be offered weekend destinations for especially low fares.

The number of Air Lituanica flights on Paris and Munich routes is increased gradually. From 3 May 5 instead of 4 flights per week will be operated to Paris; 6 flights will be available from 15 June on a daily basis, with the exception of Saturdays. From the middle of March the number of flights from Vilnius to Munich increased from 4 to 5 times a week; they will be operated 7 times a week from the middle of June.

Currently, Air Lituanica operates flights to the capital of Estonia on business days, in the morning and in the evening – the total of 10 flights per week; from the middle of June the airline will offer 12 weekly flights. The number of flights on the Prague route was increased to 5 times a week in the beginning of March, while the flights on the Berlin route – to 6 times a week. Also the airline expanded its summer season schedule with three new routes to the cities of Sweden and Denmark – Malmo, Gothenburg and Billund.

“With this intensive summer schedule, our aircrafts will spend about 132 hours in the air per week,” says Simonas Bartkus. “The total of 6,000 seats will be offered on our flights per week. The flights are operated by two aircrafts – Embraer 175 with 86 seats and CRJ 200 with 50 seats.”
