Nordic Hotel Forum becomes member of international Worldhotels chain

The Nordic Hotel Forum, the 4-star business and conference hotel on Viru Square, was accepted as a member of WORLDHOTELS on 20 August 2010, becoming the first hotel in the Baltic States to receive such an honour. The hotel joins the chain's First Class Collection.

WORLDHOTELS is the oldest European-based group of independent hotels and worldwide regional brands. It has been operating for 40 years and is an internationally recognised sales and marketing chain, representing almost 500 hotels in 300 destinations in 70 countries around the globe. The hotels are divided into three categories: the Deluxe Collection, the First Class Collection and the Comfort Collection. The online reservation system Trust Voyager makes it possible to book hotels via a number of reservation centres used by the majority of the world's tourism companies.

Although the WORLDHOTELS chain was established four decades ago, it has proven itself to be more than capable of keeping up with the changing times. Its fundamental mission has not changed since its early days: it still aims to offer a unique hotel service to unique people.

"Joining the chain hasn't led to any changes in ownership or management," explained Feliks Mägus, Chairman of the Board of Nordic Hotels. "We'll still be operating under the Nordic Hotels trademark."

Now that it is a member of the chain, Nordic Hotels will be able to make use not only of its international sales channels, but also of its broad-reaching know-how in the hotel industry. "There's no doubt that WORLDHOTELS will make a major contribution to the marketing of Estonia as a travel destination," Mägus said.
